Please note that some courses required in a 2+2 Transfer Pathway may not be required for the MCC program. This could have financial aid implications. Students should meet with their advisor or with a transfer representative to discuss an academic plan and recommended sequence of courses.

concentration from the Major Listing Sheet tab above. Majors included in
this 2+2 advising guide: Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science, English,
French, Math, Mathematics Middle Childhood, Physics, Social Studies or
Spanish.

Volunteer or work experience with children prior to program admission is
strongly advised.
In order to be fully admitted into any Initial Teacher Education Program,
students must meet the following requirements: Minimum cumulative GPA of
3.0, proof of completion of SAT, ACT, or GRE, and required coursework.
If equivalent coursework or proof of SAT, ACT or GRE is not completed,
students may be admitted to their programs conditionally. All conditions
must be met at the conclusion of their first semester at Fredonia.
AP, IB, CLEP, College Now or other high school dual enrollment, & transfer
courses:
Credits showing as accepted at MCC may not be transferable. See their AP
policies.

Most departments require a minimum grade of C for courses to transfer directly
to the major. Please refer to the Fredonia catalog for individual major
requirements.
