# General/Open Elective recommendations for Fredonia:
Audio Production Major: COM 130/242, COM 120, COM 204.
Media Management Major: COM 109/245, COM 120, ACC 101, BUS 220 or CRC 101,
ECO 112.
Digital Film Production Major: COM 120, COM 202, 204.
Communication majors must select a minor and should begin taking courses
towards their minor at MCC. Refer to catalog for approved minors. SPC 143
transfers at the 300 level.
AP, IB, CLEP, and transfer courses: Credits showing as accepted by MCC
may not be transferable. See their AP
policies.

Students who have met 7/10/30 SUNY Gen Ed courses as indicated on their
GETA will have satisfied the Fredonia Foundations general education requirement.
Beginning Fall 2021, students may apply a maximum of 60 transfer credits
at the lower division (Fredonia equivalent courses at the 100/200 level
towards their baccalaureate degree). Students may apply an additional 15
credits at the upper division (Fredonia equivalent courses at the 300/400
level towards their baccalaureate degree).
Students must earn a C or higher in all major courses.
The Communication &
Media Studies AS (CM01) will be the degree student is audited against and
awarded from MCC.
