Please note that some courses required in a 2+2 Transfer Pathway may not be required for the MCC program. This could have financial aid implications. Students should meet with their advisor or with a transfer representative to discuss an academic plan and recommended sequence of courses.

Public Relations Track. Grade of C or higher required for acceptance by
RIT. Read notes at bottom of page for additional RIT specific information.

A grade of C+ or higher is required in the following: COM 101, 120, 131;
ENG 101, 200, 250; SPC 141.
+ When choices are offered, choose courses that fulfill both RIT Perspectives
and MCC degree requirements when possible. Use the RIT
Liberal Arts Perspectives Equivalency Worksheet
to cross-reference courses OR take recommended courses.

AP, IB, CLEP, transfer courses, MCC College Now or other Dual Enrollment
credits: Credits showing as accepted by MCC may not be transferable.

GPA of 3.0 or higher is advised for acceptance to RIT. GPA of 2.0 is required
for MCC graduation.
Communication & Media Studies A.S.(CM01)
will be the degree student is audited against and awarded from MCC.
