The Liberal Arts and Sciences degree (LA04) provides flexibility to tailor coursework for a smooth transfer. The goal is to obtain your A.S. degree while taking SUNY General Education and foundation courses for your major at the 4-year degree institution.

Review all semesters with an advisor to check for needed course prerequisites. This major requires taking courses at RIT while at MCC. This is called Cross Registration. There is no additional tuition cost for this. Students must take at least 12 credits at MCC to qualify for this.
