The Liberal Arts and Sciences degree (LA04) provides flexibility to tailor coursework for a smooth transfer. This guide includes the Roberts Nursing program prerequisites and courses for the Roberts "core" (their general education requirements) while also graduating from MCC. Specific courses are advised.

This 2+2 requires students to take a course at Roberts while attending MCC (called Cross Registration); this is needed to transfer in at junior standing.

Required for students accepted into this Competitive 2+2 (as indicated by the MCC major):

  • Matriculated, continuous, full-time enrollment (12 or more credit hours each semester)
  • Cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher
  • Cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher in prerequisite science classes (A&P I; A&P II, Microbiology, Org&BioChem) required for acceptance into Roberts Nursing program

For Cross Registration: See the
RAC Inter-Institutional Enrollment Form for guidelines on how to register. Upon completion of Roberts Wesleyan courses, submit official Roberts Wesleyan transcript to MCC Admissions for ELE 900 transfer credit.

Refer to:
Roberts/MCC General Education Requirements (for core courses) and Roberts Transfer Credit Course Equivalency Database

Roberts Wesleyan Transfer Policy. Contact Roberts with questions.

RWC Foreign Language requirement for Nursing degree = 3 credits if not fulfilled in high school. (Can be fulfilled by completing three years of the same language in high school with grades of C or better. Grades 7 and 8 each count as ½ year if the same language is continued at a higher level.)
