2+2 Transfer Pathway Guides

As of Fall 2023, all incoming transfer students to Nazareth with an Associate Degree are exempt from their core/general education requirements. Click on hyperlinks for course options. Important: 60 credits of "Nazareth approved" Liberal Arts coursework are required to graduate from Nazareth University. For your electives, make sure to choose what Naz approves as liberal arts courses. Good choices include: English, social sciences, math, natural sciences, foreign languages, philosophy, as well as SPC courses. Meet with Nazareth Transfer Admissions staff to plan your transfer. + REGARDING MATH: Calculus I (MTH 210 at MCC) is required for Accounting degree at Nazareth; it is not required for Business Leadership or Marketing. AP, IB, CLEP, transfer courses, MCC College Now or other Dual Enrollment credits: Credits showing as accepted by MCC may not be transferable. See College Credit by Exam. Contact Nazareth with questions. Keep copies of your work from the courses you take at MCC. Archive them in Google.docs or Dropbox so you won't lose them. At the end of your core work at Nazareth, you will be required to integrate your learning experience based on a question that interests you in the Core Curriculum Milestone Experience. 2.7 GPA required for acceptance at Nazareth University in the Business Leadership/Marketing majors. 2.7 GPA required in both overall GPA and ACC courses for graduation in Accounting from Nazareth University. Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher is required for MCC graduation. The Business Administration A.S. (BU01) will be the degree student is audited against and awarded from MCC.
