Computer Applications for Technicians

Introduction to the IBM compatible PC as a tool for the technician. Introduction to DOS, Windows and Windows-based programs as used in technical work such as a database, spreadsheet, graphing, drawing, technical report word processing, data acquisition, and data entry. Technical specialty programs will be introduced. (Occasionally offered during other semesters.) Three laboratory hours.
