The Tutoring and Academic Assistance Center Announces New Availability for In-Class Workshops

Announcing In-Class Workshops Still Available for Booking: The Tutoring and Academic Assistance Center (TAAC) offers in-class workshops, and registration is still open! Faculty can book an Academic Coach or Writing Consultant to lead students through one of our skill-focused workshops. All workshops incorporate interactive activities and/or supplementary handouts and resources. The TAAC provides free tutoring to all students (and free coffee, too!). Students work intensively with writing consultants, academic coaches, and content tutors on coursework and academic skills. The TAAC aims to assist students in becoming more independent learners. During the fall 2023 semester, the TAAC will offer in-person tutoring at Brighton and Downtown and host virtual sessions. We have increased the capacity for drop-in tutoring and walk-in sessions, but we do encourage scheduling appointments. Please see the TAAC website for updated protocols on tutoring sessions.

Students can schedule appointments by logging into their new TracCloud profiles (https://monroecc.trac.cloud) through their myMCC account.
