It Only Takes $5 to Empower Innovation at MCC

What does it take to create the world of tomorrow? It takes inquisitive minds, a strong sense of community, and the desire to constantly improve. By supporting the Annual Fund for Monroe Community College during the campus campaign, you help empower our students, the innovators who will create our world of tomorrow. You help to make their dreams become a reality.

Supporting the Annual Fund for Monroe Community College only takes $5.  Your $5 bi-weekly contribution paid over 24 pay periods will result in a $120 gift to the Annual Fund.  It’s quick and easy when you arrange for payroll deduction online! 

Here’s why Matthew Fox supports the Annual Fund . . . “I work with underrepresented students in my classroom, and I see firsthand how the MCC Foundation helps those students through scholarships and direct support. These students are essential to three of the five directions in MCC’s strategic plan, but too many of them drop out because of financial shortfalls and lack of basic needs, such as food and transportation. The support the Foundation provides them is invaluable. It is often the difference between students walking the stage at Commencement and leaving the college without a degree.

Supporting MCC students and scholarships is important to me because receiving an education helped me to change my life, and I hope to have the same impact on others. Providing financial support to MCC students can eliminate one more barrier—giving them a fair chance to be successful.  It is my way of giving back to the college and the students that give so much to me.”
