The Office of Housing & Residence Life is happy to share that the 2024-2025 Academic Year Housing Application is now open for students interested in living in the residence halls this Fall 2024. Students can find directions to apply on the Housing website or by following the directions below:

Application Process

  2. Select the Student Home tile
  3. Select the Housing tile
  4. Select the New Housing Self-Service Portal hyperlink
  5. Click on Applications, select your preferred Housing Application. Complete the questions, and submit the $200.00 application fee/security deposit.
  6. All placements are made based on the completed (including payment) application date/time. You will receive a notification via your student email account regarding your housing status.

Housing Self-Service Portal:

  • The student will be taken to a new page with Tribune Hall in the background.  On the left side of the page, the student should see “Applications”.
  • Click on Applications and then click on either the:
    • Housing Application 2024-2025 (Fall 2024): This is the standard 10-month housing option that does not include breaks or the summer.
    • 12-Month Housing Application 2024-2025 (Fall 2024): This housing option includes all breaks and the summer, and is encouraged for students who may be housing insecure, or out-of-state/international. Review cost information online.
  • The student will see a new page with information on the Terms of Agreement and housing agreement/license. They should read this page carefully and then they will have to sign it electronically.
  • After they electronically sign and click next, they should see a new page with questions about living preferences.  They should make sure to answer all of these questions, as they help with assignments and roommate pairings.
  • The last page is a payment screen for the $200 application fee/housing deposit to be made. Students must complete the housing application AND pay the $200 deposit to receive a room assignment. Students who need financial assistance with the $200 deposit can reach out to MCC Assist

Students will receive information in their MCC email, so that should be checked regularly.

Students with questions about this process or who need assistance completing the application can also contact the Housing & Residence Life Office by calling (585) 292-3674, emailing residencehalls@monroecc.edu, or stopping into the Housing Office (Monday through Friday, 10am to 5pm) located in West Canal Hall.
