Recognizing Hispanic Heritage Month - Spotlight on Shannan S. Foos (Academic Foundations)
Did you know:
The United States Mint has an American Women Quarters Program. It is a four-year program that celebrates the accomplishments and contributions made by women of the United States. It began in 2022 and will continue throughout 2025. Each year the US issues up to five new reverse designs. Some of the quarters may feature a variety of fields in civil rights, abolition, arts, suffrage, government, etc. One of the pioneers selected this year is Celia Cruz, Cuban-American singer, one of the most popular Latin artists of the 20th Century.
