Campus Events Room Reservation Update
With the recent ease of COVID-19 testing on the Brighton Campus, the following locations will reopen for event reservations as of April 1, 2022:
- Monroe A&B
- Gilman Lounge
- Empire Room
With the re-opening of these locations, the Campus Events office will continue with the current MCC reservation procedure, however, MCC student events/activities as well as medium/large College events will receive priority reservations.
- Monroe A&B: Adjustments to the standard room(s) arrangement may be allowed but are dependent on availability of personnel and adequate set-up time.
- Standard setup:
- Monroe B – Theatre style for 150
- Monroe A – Rounds for 96
- Standard setup:
- Gilman Lounge: Adjustments to the standard room arrangement may be allowed but is dependent on availability of personnel and adequate set-up time.
- Standard setup:
- Rounds for 50
- Standard setup:
- Empire Room: No adjustments to the standard room arrangement will be approved at this time.
- Standard setup:
- Conference style for 56
- Standard setup:
Requests for the use of these facilities may be submitted by email for review and processing per the date ranges listed below:
- Students, clubs and organizations starting 4/01
- Faculty and staff starting 04/18
- Non-MCC/Rentals starting 05/03
All request should be emailed to Yolanda Johnson at (yjohnson@monroecc.edu ) and Tom Winslow at (twinslow@monroecc.edu). For all requests, please allow at least 72 business hours for a response.
