Applications Due March 6th - Scholars' Day 2023

Scholars' Day application forms for students, faculty, and staff are available on the Scholars' Day webpage. The submission deadline for all applications is March 6, 2023.

Scholars' Day at MCC showcases the academic work of student researchers, as well as faculty and staff. Scholars' Day celebrates academic excellence while promoting and encouraging scholarship throughout the college. The event features a conference of undergraduate and faculty presentations and a keynote address. 

Scholars' Day 2023 will be held on Tuesday, May 2 on the Brighton Campus. A keynote presentation by author Nic Stone will follow on Wednesday, May 3.

Students, faculty, and staff are all invited to submit an application to deliver an oral or poster presentation based on scholarship in or outside the classroom, or a performance with scholarly commentary. See our FAQ for details.

Students, you will need a faculty sponsor who will work with you to provide guidance, so if you are thinking of applying, talk to your professors about sponsorship or contact a committee member if you need help finding a sponsor.
