COVID-19 Cases & Testing Update

Thank you for wearing a mask inside MCC buildings regardless of your vaccination status. Masking and testing protect you from getting infected and spreading the virus to others—especially if you do not have symptoms.

MCC testing results for the week of September 27 are as follows:

  • 0 positive cases were identified through pooled testing.
  • 6 students are in precautionary quarantine.
  • 5 students are in mandatory quarantine.
  • 9 students are isolating off campus.
  • 1 student is isolating on campus.
  • MCC’s overall on-campus positivity rate: 0.19%.

Pooled Testing Sessions: Monday, Oct. 4 and Tuesday, Oct. 5
If you are unvaccinated, you are required to test weekly for COVID-19. (Testing is optional for individuals who are vaccinated.) MCC pooled testing sessions will be held 12:30 to 6:30 p.m. Monday, October 4 and 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 5 in the Flynn Campus Center, starting in the Forum (3-130). No appointment necessary.
