Scholars' Day Information Session Brown Bag Event Hosted by the TCC - Save the Date

The TCC will host a brown-bag information session to share details about Scholars’ Day with the MCC community.  Save the date for this in-person (room 12-201) and (virtual via Zoom) on Monday, February 3, from 12 to 12:50 PM.

The event will focus on what current and prospective faculty/staff sponsors of student presentations need to know to effectively support students as they prepare for Scholars’ Day on April 30, 2025 - with applications due March 3, 2025.  It will be co-facilitated by members of the Scholars’ Day committee, who will be available to answer questions and share updates made to the Scholars’ Day application process for 2025 (i.e., student applicants will now require electronic approval of their submitted abstract from their sponsor through the electronic application form).

Representatives from the Celebration of Learning and Undergraduate Research, Scholarly Inquiry, and Creative Activity (URSICA) will also be on hand to share their insights on getting involved with Scholars' Day Events and incorporating scholarship into your classes.
