The Tutoring and Academic Assistance Center (TAAC) Welcomes You Back for Spring 2025
The Tutoring and Academic Assistance Center (TAAC) Would Like to Extend a Warm Welcome to All for the Spring 2025 Semester! The TAAC provides free tutoring and academic skills support to all students! Students will be able to work collaboratively with Writing Consultants and Academic Coaches on general academic skills, and with content tutors on specific coursework being covered in your classes. During these sessions, TAAC aims to empower students in becoming more independent learners through a series of in-person sessions at our Brighton and Downtown campuses, and virtual sessions via Zoom. Appointments are encouraged, but we have increased the capacity for drop-in tutoring and walk-in sessions. Please see the TAAC website for updated protocols on our available sessions.
Students can schedule appointments by logging into their TracCloud profiles (https://monroecc.trac.cloud) through their myMCC account. To book an online or face-to-face appointment in TracCloud, students can reference our How to make a tutoring appointment using TracCloud (YouTube video). If students are not seeing a course they need help with or have general questions, please have them contact us below:
- For the Brighton Campus (Building 11, Room 106), email Martha MacDonald (mmacdonald@monroecc.edu) or connect by phone at 585-292-3396.
- For the Downtown Campus (Anne Kress Learning Commons, 4th Floor), email Ann Bauer (abauer@monroecc.edu) or call 585-685-6202.
Please stay tuned for the finalized TAAC schedule!
