Scholars' Day Information Session Event Hosted by the TCC - Reminder

This is a reminder that the TCC will host an information session to share details about Scholars’ Day with the MCC community on Monday, February 3, from 12 to 12:50 PM on the Brighton Campus in 12-201.  A light lunch will be provided for those attending in-person; a virtual option via Zoom will also be available.

The event will focus on what current and prospective faculty/staff sponsors of student presentations need to know to effectively support students as they prepare for Scholars’ Day on April 29, 2025 - with applications due March 3, 2025.  It will be co-facilitated by members of the Scholars’ Day committee, who will be available to answer questions and share updates made to the Scholars’ Day application process for 2025 (i.e., student applicants will now require electronic approval of their submitted abstract from their sponsor through the electronic application form).

Representatives from the Celebration of Learning and Undergraduate Research, Scholarly Inquiry, and Creative Activity (URSICA) will also be on hand to share their insights on getting involved with Scholars' Day Events and incorporating scholarship into your classes.
