The Tutoring and Academic Assistance Center Welcomes You Back for Fall 2024

The Tutoring and Academic Assistance Center Would Like to Extend a Warm Welcome to All for the Fall 2024 Semester! The TAAC provides free tutoring to all students--and free coffee, too! Students work intensively with writing consultants, academic coaches, and content tutors on coursework and academic skills. The TAAC aims to assist students in becoming more independent learners. During the fall 2024 semester, the TAAC will offer in-person tutoring at Brighton and Downtown and host virtual sessions. We have increased the capacity for drop-in tutoring and walk-in sessions, but we do encourage scheduling appointments. Please see the TAAC website for updated protocols on tutoring sessions.

Students can schedule appointments by logging into their  TracCloud profiles (https://monroecc.trac.cloud) through their myMCC account.

Announcing In-Class Workshops Now Open for Booking: The Tutoring and Academic Assistance Center (TAAC) is now offering in-class workshops for the Fall 2024 semester, and registration is now open! Faculty will be able to book an Academic Coach or Writing Consultant to lead students through one of our skill-focused workshops. All workshops incorporate interactive activities and/or supplementary handouts and resources.
