The Liberal Arts and Sciences degree (LA04) provides flexibility to tailor coursework for a smooth transfer. The goal is to obtain your A.S. degree while taking SUNY General Education and foundation courses for your major at the 4-year degree institution.

Directions:

1. Choose one SUNY Fredonia major from the list below.

2. Use your MCC Degree Works Worksheet and the major courses listed below to choose courses to take at MCC. Take as many of the courses outlined for your specific major as you are able (as well as the SUNY Gen Ed courses needed for the MCC degree). Depending on your intended major, you may be able to take additional electives of your choice to obtain the minimum needed 60 credits to graduate. Make sure to consult with an MCC advisor prior to course registration.

Prospective MCC students, see the
MCC Liberal Arts and Sciences - General Studies A.S. degree outline.

3. Carefully read the notes below; contact your MCC advisor or Fredonia if you have questions.
