This 2+2 Transfer Pathway
Advising Guide directly follows the MCC Degree Works worksheet; no modifications
or substitutions are needed.
As of Fall 2023, any student who transfers to SUNY Brockport with an earned
Associate’s degree (AS, AAS, or AA) or earned Bachelor’s degree will
have ALL general education requirements completed (this includes SUNY and
Brockport local requirements). Brockport accepts up to 75 credits from
community colleges.

Brockport Course Equivalencies
Grades of 'C' or higher in most PSY and Statistics courses are required
by Brockport. PSY courses with passing grades of 'C-' or lower can sometimes
be used as electives in Brockport's Psychology major. A maximum of 21 PSY
credits can be applied toward Brockport's Psychology major.

Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher is advised for acceptance to SUNY Brockport.
GPA of 2.0 is required for MCC graduation.
The Psychology A.S. (PC01) will be the degree student is audited against
and awarded from MCC.
