this requirement is considered an open elective
# This 3-credit elective may not be necessary if the student has already
completed three 4-credit electives and has the minimum 12 credits of electives
required for the program. The student will need to request a waiver from
the Mathematics Department.

GPA of 3.0 or higher is advised for acceptance to RIT. GPA of 2.0 is required
for MCC graduation.
The Mathematics A.S. (MC02) will be the degree student is audited against
and awarded from MCC.
