Choose one major and complete as many courses possible to fulfill SUNY
Gen Ed and/or elective credit as listed. SJFU requires students to take
a minimum of one-half of the major courses at SJFU.

Contact St. John Fisher University with questions
St. John Fisher B.A. candidates need to show language proficiency. They
can do that by either having transfer credit for language at the MCC 102
level, taking course(s) at Fisher to complete at the MCC 102 level or by
taking a language proficiency test through the department of Modern Languages
at Fisher that demonstrates proficiency at the MCC 102 or equivalent Fisher
112 level. Advanced Placement (AP) scores of 4 and above and International
Baccalaureate scores of 5 and above are accepted as fulfilling the foreign
language requirement. ASL courses are acceptable for a foreign language
sequence.
Two courses of a 200 level are required and must be met for MCC graduation.
Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher is required for acceptance to SJFU and
for MCC graduation.
The Liberal Arts A.S. (LA04) will be the degree student is audited against
and awarded from MCC.
