SCR 211--Computer Security I
3 Credits This course will discuss the dimensions of the computer security problem, the types of computer-related, computer-assisted, or computer-abuse crimes, a profile of the electronic criminal; infiltration by organized crime; the selection of personnel; establishment of a code of ethics, policies, procedures, a master plan, and methods of insuring adherence; potential sources of attack and security measures to prevent or protect against.

SCR 213--Digital Forensics Fundamentals
2 Credits Based on EC-Council’s Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator industry-based certification, this course presents a basic methodologies in computer forensics and evidence analysis. This is a preparatory course covering forensic investigation techniques. It enables students to acquire hands-on experience with industry-accepted toolsets that are necessary in the successful implementation of evidence acquisition leading to criminal prosecution. SCR 222--CyberOps Associate
3 Credits The CyberOps Associate course is designed for Cisco Networking Academy® students who are seeking career-oriented, entry-level security analyst skills. Target students include individuals enrolled in technology degree programs at institutions of higher education and IT professionals who want to pursue a career in the Security Operation Center (SOC). Learners in this course are exposed to all of the foundational knowledge required to detect, analyze, and escalate basic cybersecurity threats using common open-source tools. This course aligns with the Cisco Certified CyberOps Associate (CBROPS) certification. Candidates need to pass the 200-201 CBROPS exam to achieve the Cisco Certified CyberOps Associate certification. SCR 230--Cloud Security
2 Credits Cloud Security provides an in-depth study of the security and privacy of cloud computing systems. Topics include cloud computing models, security issues relating to data and server outsourcing; threat models; and cloud-based security controls and measures. The course also addresses the development of logging and audits to ensure operational integrity in order to protect customer data in cloud-based resources, as well as examining the internet of things (IoT) in the context of cloud security and privacy.
