This certificate is designed for people moving from traditional to digital publishing environments. The student will be designing and publishing for both print media and interactive content on the World Wide Web-Internet. At the conclusion of this program, the student will be able to design and maintain websites as well as produce work for color offset reproduction, and understand the tools and requirements of both publishing environments. No experience in Macintosh/PC hardware and software technologies is needed for those wishing to take this program. This certificate may be completed in two semesters. Departmental interview and portfolio are required for acceptance into the program.
