Scholars' Day Lunch and Learn Information Session

Would you like to learn more about Scholars’ Day? MCC's annual event that showcases the work of student researchers and faculty/staff; where student presentations can win scholarships. Join us for a Scholars' Day information session next Wednesday, February 11, from 12:00 PM to 12:50 PM in the Brighton Room (3-207). A light lunch will be provided. Note: this is a location change from the previous announcement for this event.

A panel of previous student presenters, faculty mentors, and members of the Scholars' Day committee will be available to answer questions and share their experiences with prospective students, faculty, and staff interested in learning more about the event. Representatives from the Celebration of Learning and Undergraduate Research, Scholarly Inquiry, and Creative Activity (URSICA) will also be on hand to share their insights on getting involved with Scholars' Day Events and incorporating scholarship into your classes.

Scholars’ Day takes place on April 28, 2026 - with applications due March 2, 2026.  Student applicants will need a sponsor to approve their submitted abstract through the electronic application form.  Learn more about the event, the application process, and winning scholarships by joining us next Wednesday!
