Don't Miss Special Faculty/Staff/Retiree Rate for the Salute to Excellence

We have a lot to celebrate! You won't want to miss the MCC Foundation's 34th Annual Salute to Excellence presented by ESL on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at the Floreano Convention Center. We will gather with Honorary Chair Faheem A. Masood, president and CEO, ESL Federal Credit Union, as we present this year’s Salute to Excellence Award to Lauren Dixon and Mike Schwabl for their remarkable generosity and commitment to the College and Foundation—from establishing a scholarship that opens doors for students, to spearheading the STAR Power Giving Initiative with unmatched energy—and most importantly, serving as passionate champions who’ve rallied others to join them in advancing the Foundation’s mission. At Dixon Schwabl + Company, Lauren serves as board chair and Mike serves as vice chair of the board.

At the event, we will present the Salute to Volunteerism award to Scott M. Kogler, CPA, PFS, president, Davie Kaplan, CPA, P.C. Scott has dedicated 22 years to the MCC Foundation Board of Directors, consistently offering his time, insights, and leadership in ways that have truly strengthened our work.

This year's outstanding inductions being made into the MCC Alumni Hall of Fame include:

  • Emad H. Kadhim ’13, owner and president, Roc Industrial LLC
  • Ebony T. Miller ’98, MBA, director, Center for Urban Entrepreneurship, Rochester Institute of Technology
  • Kevin S. Salva ’84, president, Zweigle’s Inc.
  • Stephanie E. Von Bacho ’88, EdD, MSEd, MS, RN, NEA-BC, senior director, Learning and Development, University of Rochester/University of Rochester Medical Center/UR Medicine and Assistant Professor, University of Rochester School of Nursing
