Last Call for Special Faculty/Staff Rate for the Salute to Excellence

Each year at this time the Monroe Community College Foundation celebrates the impact of philanthropic investment at Monroe Community College and the brilliance, creativity and dedication of exceptional alumni making a difference in the community.

On Wednesday, November 19, we’ll gather at the Floreano Convention Center with Honorary Chair Faheem A. Masood as we present the Salute to Excellence award to Lauren Dixon and Mike Schwabl for their remarkable generosity and commitment to MCC and the Foundation—from establishing a scholarship that opens doors for students, to spearheading the STAR Power Giving Initiative with unmatched energy—and most importantly, serving as passionate champions who’ve rallied others to join them in advancing the Foundation’s mission.

We will also present the Salute to Volunteerism award to Scott M. Kogler. Scott has dedicated 22 years to the MCC Foundation Board of Directors, consistently offering his time, insights and leadership in ways that have truly strengthened our work.

In keeping with tradition, we will induct four outstanding alumni into the MCC Alumni Hall of Fame to include: Emad H. Kadhim ’13, Ebony T. Miller ’98, Kevin S. Salva ’84 and Stephanie E. Von Bacho ’88.
