Mandatory COVID-19 Pooled Testing Session Today & Tomorrow

All students who come to the Applied Technologies Center, the Brighton Campus and the Downtown Campus -- for any reason this week and for the remainder of the fall semester, including student-residents -- are required to participate in pooled COVID-19 testing* on Monday, Dec. 14 or Tuesday, Dec. 15. Appointments are not necessary. Pooled testing will be conducted on a walk-in basis from 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. in the Warshof Conference Center, Flynn Campus Center (Monroe A & B) on the Brighton Campus.

Students may also present verification of a negative COVID test from an alternate testing site to studentrights@monroecc.edu.

Details of MCC's Fall 2020 Departure Plan as well as health and safety protocols are available at www.monroecc.edu/coronavirus.

If you test positive for COVID-19, you must:

  • Immediately contact MCC Health Services at (585) 292-2018 or healthsvc@monroecc.edu. Your name and personal information will remain confidential.

If you traveled outside New York state within the past two weeks, you must:

  • Follow state-mandated travel protocols on COVID-19 testing and quarantine/isolation.

Students who violate health protocols and quarantine or isolation orders are subject to conduct charges through the Monroe Community College Student Code of Conduct and sanctions as outlined in the SUNY Sanctions in Response to COVID-19 Violations.

Your participation in COVID-19 testing--along with remaining vigilant about mask-wearing, social distancing and hand-washing--helps prevent the spread of COVID-19 on campus and in the community. Questions? Call (585) 292-8310 or send an email to covid19response@monroecc.edu.
