Transfer Application Time!
If you are planning to transfer this Fall, now is the time to apply!
All students (even those accepted into 2+2 Transfer Pathways as indicated on
their MCC major) need to fill out applications.
There are three steps:
Apply.
- For SUNY, use the SUNY
application. If graduating: you can apply to 7 SUNY colleges for free. Make
sure you indicate that you will graduate when asked on the
application. Click the “Transfer Student Fee Waiver” button
under the payment option. Note: SUNY Empire uses a different application.
There is a free application code for MCC grads: ECPTRADV (except for nursing
majors).
- For Private and Out‐of‐State Colleges: Use the college’s
application on their website or a multi-campus application such as the Common Application if you are applying to several
schools.
Request that ALL of your transcripts be sent to the 4 year
college.
Apply for Financial Aid.
- This may include FAFSA, TAP, Excelsior, and CSS Profile
for some private institutions. Apply early. Don't wait to be accepted!
