Technology Resources for Students

Welcome, Students! Brightspace is our digital learning environment at MCC. We hope you found your way in, but in case you have trouble, we are here to help. 

  • The easiest way to get to Brightspace is through our myMCC portal. Login at mymcc.monroecc.edu with your MCC email and password and click on the Brightspace tile. 
  • Each of your courses has an online space for your professors to post class materials and/or assignments at their discretion, but the degree to which you will use it will vary by class modality. 
  • If you are just getting started with Brightspace, you can explore our MCC Online Student Orientation to learn the basics of Brightspace, Zoom, and tips for success. It's a low-stakes way to practice tasks like submitting an assignment, posting a discussion thread, and completing an online quiz. 

Need Help?

  • If you are having trouble with your MCC account or locating your Brightspace courses, contact the Student Technology Help Desk. Call (585) 292-TECH or email Technology Help. 
  • If you need Brightspace assistance, contact the SUNY Online Help Desk at 1-844-673-6786. They have extended help support hours (nights and weekends). 
  • If you are a fully online student and need support getting started in your asynchronous course, you can contact our Virtual Campus concierge at vcconcierge@monroecc.edu.
