MUS 106 - OFF CAMPUS Community Concert Bands/Orchestras

Students earn credit for participation in Rochester Community (off campus) bands and orchestras. Performance and rehearsal times and dates depend upon the schedule of the community ensemble selected by the student. There may be an audition required by these ensembles. Students must see the MCC music faculty member listed for this course in person, (located in Building 12) to obtain information on which community groups qualify, permission to join, fill out forms, and receive other details for participation in these groups. This contact with the faculty member must be completed within the first week of the semester that you want to participate even if the student has registered for the course in advance of the semester. (May be repeated for additional credit.)

Prerequisite: Permission of instructor and prior experience in playing a band instrument.
