Spring 2024 Housing Application is Now Open!

The Office of Housing & Residence Life is happy to share that the spring 2024 housing application is now open for students interested in living in the residence halls this spring. Students can find directions to apply on the Housing website or by following the directions below:

APPLICATION PROCESS

  1. Log in to MyMCC using your MCC email address and password
  2. Select the Student Home tile
  3. Select the Housing tile
  4. Select the New Housing Self-Service Portal hyperlink
  5. Click on Applications, and then select the appropriate housing application. Complete and pay the $200.00 application fee/security deposit
  6. All placements are made based on the completed (including payment) application date/time. You will receive a notification via your student email account regarding your housing status.

New Housing Self-Service Portal: The student will be taken to a new page with Tribune Hall in the background.  On the left side of the page, the student should see “Applications”. Click on Applications and then find “2024 SPRING ONLY Housing Application (Spring 2024)" or select the "12 Month Housing Application" (review costs). The student will see a new page with information on the housing agreement/license. They should read this page carefully and then they will have to sign it electronically.  After they electronically sign and click next, they should see a new page with questions about preferences.  They should make sure to answer all of these questions, as they help with assignments and roommate pairings. The last page is a payment screen for the $200 housing deposit to be made.  Students must complete the housing application AND pay the $200 deposit to receive a room assignment. Students who need financial assistance with the $200 deposit can reach out to MCC Assist. 

Students will receive information about their rooms at their MCC email, so that should be checked regularly. Students with questions about this process or who need assistance completing the application can also contact the housing office by calling 585-292-3674, emailing residencehalls@monroecc.edu, or stopping into the Housing Office (Monday thru Friday 10am to 5pm) located in West Canal Hall.
