MCC Public Safety Dispatchers Answer the Call 24/7
A Monroe Community College Public Safety Dispatcher may be the first person you interact with when contacting Public Safety. The MCC Emergency Communications Office, housed within the Department of Public Safety, currently employs 4 full-time and 3 part-time dispatchers.
Open 365 days a year, staffed 24 hours a day, MCC Public Safety accepts both emergency and non-emergency requests for service. We offer several options on how you can contact us. No matter the reason, or what method you choose to reach us, all forms of communication are received at one answering point.
- Save our phone number on your mobile device: 585-292-2911.
- Call us from any interior campus phone. Just pick up the receiver and dial 2911.
- Contact us using a Blue Light Phone located in most lots, athletic fields and entrances.
- Persons who are hard of hearing can sign up and use the free 711 TTY-based telecommunications relay services: (https://www.fcc.gov/consumers/guides/711-telecommunications-relay-service)
- To contact us anonymously, leave us a voice message on our Tip Line, at 585-292-3636, or send us an email using our Silent Witness form on Public Safety’s web page.
- Push Button for Emergency Only option on CISCO phones- directly connects you to MCC Dispatch.
- Download the Rave Guardian Mobile Safety App on any Android or iPhone device.
- Register for the MCC Alert System (www.monroecc.edu/depts/pstd/mcc-alert-system): Important safety and other college alerts are automatically sent to your MCC email address. Add phone numbers and other email addresses if you’d like to receive alerts via text, calls and personal email.
