The 10-credit CyberSecurity Operations microcredential is designed to help prepare the student for entry-level job opportunities with a Security Operations Center (SOC) help desk or analyst role. It provides the student with tactical knowledge in general networking, Cisco operations, and foundational skills used in a Security Operation Center (SOC), including the ability to detect, analyze, and respond to cybersecurity threats.

Training is based on the Cisco Cyber-Ops and Cisco CCNA certification materials. The title of this microcredential and classes within are associated with industry-based certifications that are recognized by Network Operations and Security Operations Center employers.
