2+2 with SUNY University at Buffalo (UB)
B.S. Business Administration-Accounting (BA32) & B.S. Business Administration (BU33)
MCC Degree Awarded:
Business Administration A.S. (BU01)
Please note that some courses required in a Transfer Pathway may not be required for the MCC program. This could have financial aid implications. Students should meet with their advisor or with a transfer representative to discuss an academic plan and recommended sequence of courses.
* Students
may substitute COS 133 for COS 101.
MTH 160 & BUS 220
are both required to transfer as MGQ 201 Introduction to Statistics for
Analytics at UB.
Students
are encouraged to take MAR 201 Dynamics of Selling if possible (offered
in Fall semester). MAR
200 and MAR 201 are both required to transfer as MGM 301 Principles of
Marketing, a required UB major course. See:

Requirements for admission by UB:
Accounting:
Cumulative 2.75 GPA and 2.95 major GPA with a B or higher in ACC 101 and
102. (Updated May 2025)
Business Administration:
Cumulative 2.0 GPA and 2.5 major GPA. (Updated May 2025)
UB Policy: If you repeat a prerequisite course, the second grade is
counted, even if that grade is lower than the grade you earned the first
time. You may not take a course for a third time.
Keep copies of your work from the courses you take at MCC to incorporate
with the UB Curriculum Capstone portfolio requirement. We suggest that
you archive them in Google.docs or Dropbox.
AP, IB, CLEP, transfer courses, MCC College Now or other Dual Enrollment
credits: Credits showing as accepted by MCC may not be transferable.

Students are encouraged to meet with a UB representative for a detailed
academic evaluation and transfer information.
The Business Administration A.S. (BU01) will be the degree student is audited
