ENGINEERING COURSES - SEE MAJOR LISTING SHEET TAB ABOVE

In addition to the core courses listed on this 2+2 Sheet, students need to take courses according to their intended engineering major at RIT:

Computer Engineering,
Electrical Engineering,
Industrial Engineering,
Mechanical Engineering, or
Microelectronic Engineering

See Major Listing Sheet for program core courses specific to each major.

Students cannot repeat core coursework more than one time. Students repeating courses more than once will have their grade point average recalculated to include these courses in their overall GPA.

See Engineering Department Chairperson for course substitutions or waivers as needed.
See RIT Course Equivalencies.

If able, take an
Ethical and/or Global Perspective course.
Examples: ANT or GEG 102; PHL 101, 103 or 105.

Start thinking about what you would like as your
Immersion or Minor at RIT.

Required for students accepted into this Competitive 2+2 (as indicated by your MCC major):
Matriculated, continuous, full-time enrollment (12 or more credit hours).

While every effort is made to ensure accurate information, students are strongly advised to verify course transferability with the four-year institution as they will make the final determination of transfer credit.
AP, IB, CLEP, DUAL ENROLLMENT, & TRANSFER COURSES: Credits showing as accepted by MCC may not be transferable. See Transfer and Test Credit. Contact RIT with questions.

The Engineering Science A.S. (EN01) will be the degree student is audited against and awarded from MCC.
