2+2 Transfer Pathway Guides
2+2 with St. John Fisher University
B.A./B.S. Computer Science (CS37)
MCC Degree Awarded:
Computer Science A.S. (CS01)
Please note that some courses required in a 2+2 Transfer Pathway may not be required for the MCC program. This could have financial aid implications. Students should meet with their advisor or with a transfer representative to discuss an academic plan and recommended sequence of courses.
This guide is for students
who entered this 2+2 for catalog year 2023-2024. If you are a new 2+2 student
for 2024-2025, there are a few MCC curriculum changes; be sure to review
this with an MCC advisor.
Refer to the St.
John Fisher University (SJF) MCC Computer Science Advising Guide for Transfer
Students
on their website. Meet
with your MCC advisor and SJF
Transfer Admission staff
to plan your transfer.

AP, IB, CLEP, transfer, MCC College Now and other Dual Enrollment courses:
Credits showing as accepted by MCC may not be transferable. Contact
St. John Fisher University to determine if those credits are transferable.
Also see: Credit
Transfer Policies.
Foreign Language: St. John Fisher B.A. candidates need to show language
proficiency. They can do this by either having transfer credit for language
at the MCC 102 level, taking course(s) at Fisher to complete at the MCC
102 level or by taking a language proficiency test through the department
of Modern Languages at Fisher that demonstrates proficiency at the MCC
102 or equivalent Fisher 112 level.
Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher is required for acceptance and for MCC
graduation.
The Computer Science A.S. (CS01) will be the degree student is audited
against and awarded from MCC. Documentation source: MCC Advisement &
Transfer Services 2023-2024. Updated 8/2/2023
While every effort is made to ensure accurate information, students are
strongly advised to verify course transferability with the four-year institution
as they will make the final determination of transfer credit.
