Directions:

1.
Use your MCC Degree Works worksheet and the
St. John Fisher (SJF) MCC Public Relations Advising Guide for Transfer Students to choose courses to take at MCC. Follow the MCC Public Relations Track. Note that this 2+2 Transfer Pathway Advising Guide directly follows the MCC Degree Works worksheet; no modifications or substitutions are needed. Take BUS 104 Introduction to Business and MAR 200 Principles of Marketing as electives if able.

Students are strongly advised to graduate from MCC before transferring as SJF waives their local general education course requirements for students transferring with an Associate degree.

2.
Meet with your MCC advisor and
SJF Transfer Admission staff to plan your transfer. Apply to SJF the semester before you complete your degree at MCC.

Note:


AP, IB, CLEP, transfer courses, MCC College Now or other Dual Enrollment credits: Credits showing as accepted by MCC may not be transferable. See:
Credit Transfer Policies. Contact SJF with questions.

Foreign Language: St. John Fisher B.A. candidates need to show language proficiency. They can do this by either having transfer credit for language at the MCC 102 level, taking course(s) at Fisher to complete at the MCC 102 level or by taking a language proficiency test through the department of Modern Languages at Fisher that demonstrates proficiency at the MCC 102 or equivalent Fisher 112 level.

Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher is required for acceptance and for MCC graduation.
The Communication and Media Studies A.S. (CM01) will be the degree student is audited against and awarded from MCC.
