SUNY Brockport:
MCC does not have a formal transfer pathway with Brockport for Cybersecurity. However, students are encouraged to take the following courses that will apply to their BS in Cybersecurity:
MTH 165 College Algebra
MTH 175 Precalculus
MTH 160 Statistics I
MTH 220 Discrete Math (Prerequisite: MTH 210 with a grade of C or higher, or equivalent)
CRJ 101 Introduction to Criminal Justice
CPT 120 Introduction to Cybersecurity
CSC 215 Routing Fundamentals (Prerequisite(s): MIS 200 or CSC 101 or CPT 101 with a grade of C or better or permission of instructor)
CSC 223 Computer Programming - C ++ (Prerequisites(s): CPT 101 or CSC 101 or MIS 200 with a grade of C or better)

Students are advised to earn a Network and Security Administration Associate degree at MCC and take the following courses that will apply to their BS in Cybersecurity.

Rochester Institute of Technology:
MCC does not have a transfer pathway RIT for Cybersecurity. However, below are courses students can take at MCC that will apply to that degree. Note that students will NOT transfer in at junior standing.

MTH 220 Discrete Math
MTH 230 Linear Algebra
MTH 260 Probability and Statistics I
CPT 115+215+217 (will transfer in as two Cybersecurity classes at RIT)

Additionally, students can take courses that will fulfill the “Perspectives” at RIT. (Their general education requirements.) RIT requires a Social, Global, Artistic, and Ethical Perspectives for this degree. For example, PHL 105 is a good choice for an Ethical Perspective; SOC 101 is a good choice for a Social Perspective; GEG or ANT 102 is a good choice for a Global; ENG 113 or 105 is good for Artistic.
