How To Apply
If you did not receive an invite to fill out this application from the EOP Office, please do not proceed.
All applicants should complete the SUNY Application on-line and indicate an interest in EOP. This will begin the process for program consideration. Academic eligibility is determined by the campus and is based on the applicant's high school records. First-time college students must meet both academic and income guidelines. Priority is given to applicants from historically disadvantaged backgrounds.
Applicants who meet the academic eligibility and have been accepted to the college will receive information regarding program requirements to further determine eligibility. Interviews are required. The interview gives you an opportunity to learn more about EOP and have all of your questions answered.
Students accepted to Monroe Community College are not automatically accepted to EOP. In addition, all applicants to EOP receive a letter of acceptance or denial upon review of all required documents.
All eligible applicants are required to:
- Commit to participating in the mandatory Pre-Freshman bridge program
- Provide an essay
- Verify income eligibility for the prior prior year (same as FAFSA requirement)
- Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the New York State Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) Form.
If you need assistance, you may either email the EOP Office or contact us by phone at (585) 292-2028.
Deadlines for EOP Admissions
Please note: EOP Admissions deadline is subject to change contingent upon the number of EOP applications received each semester.
Remember, there are a limited number of openings in EOP. Please start your application process early. Students who have completed all of the application steps will be the first considered for acceptance.
