<li>8 positive cases were identified among students, faculty and staff who participated in MCC-administered testing (pooled and rapid tests only) during the week of Jan. 17.</li>
<li>7 students are isolating off campus.</li>
<li>No students are isolating on campus.</li>
<li>No students are in mandatory or precautionary quarantine.</li>

<p><em>*&nbsp; Because of the increased volume of COVID testing in the local community, MCC students and employees have been recently experiencing a longer-than-usual turnaround time in receiving their pooled testing results. The lab that processes and reports the tests for the College is working to shorten the delays while meeting the rising demand for testing. Thank you for your patience and understanding.</em></p>

<p><strong>Expanded Pooled Testing Sessions This Week starting today at 12:30 p.m.</strong></p>

<p>Today&rsquo;s testing session will run from 12:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Flynn Campus Center, starting in the Forum (3-130). No appointment necessary. Instructions and upcoming test dates through Feb. 3, 2022 are available on the&nbsp;<a href="https://www.monroecc.edu/coronavirus/pooled-covid-19-testing/">pooled testing web page</a>.</p>

<p><strong>Please note: MCC's Pooled Testing Center is managed separately from the NYS Community Testing site. Please be sure to test at the testing center where the process begins in the Flynn Campus Center Forum (3-130). Thank you.</strong></p>

<p><strong>Participate in COVID-19 Pooled Testing today, Jan. 24 through Thursday, Feb. 3</strong><br />
Regardless of vaccination status, if you plan to come to campus you must&nbsp;test at&nbsp;<a href="https://www.monroecc.edu/index.php?id=29501" target="_blank">MCC&rsquo;s Pooled Testing Center</a>&nbsp;on the Brighton Campus&mdash;at least once&mdash;between Monday, Jan. 24 through Thursday, Feb. 3. By doing so, you will help MCC deliver a comprehensive baseline assessment of the absence/presence of COVID-19 within the college community.&nbsp;</p>

<p><strong>If you have not&nbsp;</strong><strong><a href="https://www.monroecc.edu/mccannou.nsf/All+Current+Listings+By+Date/2EAB0BC
BE564BA3685258722005231FA?OpenDocument">verified vaccination</a></strong>&nbsp;and you plan to come to campus&mdash;frequently or infrequently&mdash;for any reason, you must test each week for COVID-19. If you have verified vaccination, participation in campus-administered testing is optional.</p>

SUNY and MCC encourage you to verify vaccination and get a booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine if you are eligible. Why wait?
