<p>Colleagues are exploring ways to expand the MCC-specific information that is included in our weekly COVID-19 case updates to keep you informed of overall conditions at the college&mdash;especially now that more people are testing for COVID-19 at home and conveying results from outside of MCC&rsquo;s testing operation.</p>

<p>Since September 2020, our efforts have resulted in a low on-campus positivity rate (0.23%) based on campus-administered pooled and rapid tests only. <p><strong>Week of Jan. 3, 2022 Test Results</strong></p>

<ul>
<li>4 positive cases were identified among students, faculty and staff who participated in MCC-administered testing (pooled and rapid tests only) during the week of Jan. 3.</li>
<li>12 students are isolating off campus.</li>
<li>1 student is isolating on campus.</li>
<li>1 student is in mandatory quarantine off campus.</li>
<li>Monroe County rolling 7-day average positivity: 20.4% (up from 17.4% last week).</li>

<p><strong>Pooled Testing Session on Tuesday, Jan. 11</strong><br />
If you have not&nbsp;<a href="https://www.monroecc.edu/mccannou.nsf/All+Current+Listings+By+Date/2EAB0BC
BE564BA3685258722005231FA?OpenDocument">verified vaccination</a>&nbsp;and you plan to come to campus&mdash;frequently or infrequently&mdash;for any reason, you must test each week for COVID-19. If you have verified vaccination, participation in campus-administered testing is optional.</p>

<p>The&nbsp; next pooled testing session&nbsp;will run from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. tomorrow, Jan. 11, in the Flynn Campus Center, starting in the Forum (3-130). No appointment necessary. Upcoming test dates through Feb. 1, 2022 are available on the&nbsp;<a href="https://www.monroecc.edu/coronavirus/pooled-covid-19-testing/">pooled testing web page</a>.</p>
