Our department offers students a wide range of courses in chemistry, geology, and geography.  We offer A.S. degrees in Chemistry, Geology, and Geography as well as a Geospatial Information Science Technology (GIST) Certificate. We also offer SCI 131 – Integrated Science for Future Teachers and support the Chemistry Club and Geoscience Association.  Our department has received a NSF grant (2015-2018) to provide geospatial (GIS, remote sensing, and GPS) professional development for high school science and technology teachers and to develop a geospatial certificate program for MCC students. We also operate MCC's WeatherWeb weather station based at the Brighton campus.
