Welcome

Our department offers students a wide range of courses in chemistry, geology, and geography. We also operate MCC's WeatherWeb weather station based at the Brighton campus. In addition to courses in Chemistry, Geology, and Geography, we also offer SCI 131 – Integrated Science for Future Teachers and support the Chemistry Club and Geoscience Association.  Our department has received a NSF grant (2015-2018) to provide geospatial (GIS, remote sensing, and GPS) professional development for high school science and technology teachers and to develop a geospatial certificate program for MCC students.

To learn more, please click on a field of interest above or browse our department's brochure. We look forward to helping you meet your goals!
