Internal Funding Information

Internal Funding grants provide funds for projects that correlate with MCC's mission and the 2017-2021 Strategic Plan: Charting the Course.  Projects should benefit students, seed creative projects, or enhance excellence in teaching.  Review guidelines before accessing the application form below.

Monroe Community College Foundation

  • Applications are due February 9, 2018.
  • Funding will be available May 1, 2018.
  • Project must be completed and final report submitted by April 30, 2019.
  • Grants typically range from $1,000 -$3,000.
  • Projects should have a direct benefit to students in the classroom or provide opportunities to enhance excellence in teaching.
  • Funding supports projects in their first year, encouraging creativity and new educational opportunities at MCC.
  • Project outcomes must be measurable and should extend beyond the timeline of the grant without incurring continuing costs.
  • Funds do NOT support salary or release time or student travel.

The Strategic Planning Initiative grants application process now is managed by the Planning Committee of the Faculty Senate.  The application form and guidelines can be found in the Strategic Planning Initiative Materials folder on the Faculty Senate Blackboard site.  Contact the Chair of the Faculty Senate Planning Committee or your Senator if you have questions on the application process.
