Academic Programs
Students are expected to complete the degree requirements as listed that corresponds to the semester in which they matriculated into a program. Students who elect to change programs will be held accountable to the catalog requirements listed in the semester of their program change.
As a comprehensive community college, Monroe Community College offers a wide variety of academic programs that serve the diverse needs of our community. All MCC programs (except Dual Admission) may be completed on a part-time basis (fewer than 12 credit hours). More part-time students choose MCC than any other college in the greater Rochester area – more than half of our students attend part-time. Flexible options like LateStart Courses, Online Courses, and Hybrid Courses make MCC convenient for busy students. Financial Aid is available to part-time students.
If you need a place for the kids so you can attend class, visit our on-site, licensed Child Care Center.
Please note: Some high demand programs have to be completed in sequential semesters. Students who do not attend for consecutive semesters would need to reapply for admission.
