IDE 122 - Interior Design Communication II

Introduces the student to perspective drawing techniques as used to present design concepts to the client. Emphasis will be placed upon one and two-point perspective drawing and the communication of finish selections through the use of marker rendering.

Prerequisite: IDE 121 with a grade of C or better

Course Learning Outcomes
1. Illustrate a three dimensional space utilizing a one-point perspective system.
2. Illustrate a three dimensional space utilizing a two-point perspective system.
3. Represent interior finishes in an illustration utilizing markers and other media.
4. Create an interior space plan including selection and placement of furniture, furnishings, and finishes.
5. Develop a presentation of finish materials and graphics.
6. Communicate a design concept through visual media and verbal presentation.
