PSY-200 — Behavior Modification

A study of the principles of conditioning and learning as applied to practical approaches of behavior management and change. Special attention will be given to behavior change in institutional and personal settings. Self-regulation and cognitive-behavioral techniques will also be discussed. Three class hours.

Project Description

This service-learning project is for the benefit of six of the seven Schools at MCC. The assignment is for the student groups to use characteristics of applied behavioral analysis to: 1. Conduct an assessment of how MCC students currently engage with their School and 2. Use the collected data to recommend a targeted marketing plan based on behavior modification principles to the specialist of each School with the goal of increasing student engagement with their School.
