An introduction to basic problems in ethics, emphasizing theories of the good life, the morally good person, and morally right action, and their application to the most significant ethical questions in contemporary society, such as abortion, euthanasia, human sexuality, social and economic justice, violence, and use of the environment. Project Description

Students will be able to choose from two projects. 1) Participate in the Holocaust, Genocide and Human Rights Project Student group to commemorate the Holocaust and other genocides and 2) Participate in a Moral Argument Project to demonstrate this service to some community members the argument analysis of moral issues using the methods practiced in class. Several topics involved such as Capital punishment, Abortion, Street harassment, etc
