Industrial Systems Engineering - B.S. (EN35)

College Web Site: http://www.rit.edu

MCC Degree Awarded:

Engineering Science A.S. (EN01)

Please note that some courses required in a Transfer Pathway may not be required for the MCC program. This could have financial aid implications. Students should meet with their advisor or with a transfer representative to discuss an academic plan and recommended sequence of courses.
Transfer Guide

Students interested in this Competitive Transfer Pathway must complete an MCC program change request and meet specific entrance requirements to be formally accepted.

For those accepted
(as indicated by their MCC major): continuous, full-time enrollment (12 or more credit hours each semester) is required. Enrollment in this Competitive Transfer Pathway, along with closely following the guide, significantly increases the likelihood of acceptance by the 4-year institution. Please note that student contact information will be shared with the 4-year institution. Students will need to complete a transfer application, typically done prior to the start of their last semester at MCC.

If not accepted,
students can still follow this advising guide and apply to the transfer university. All students are encouraged to meet with transfer staff at MCC and at the transfer institution.

Note the following:

A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required for admission consideration by RIT for those accepted into the Competitive Transfer Pathway. Students not formally accepted into the Competitive Transfer Pathway may need a higher GPA. Students repeating courses will have their grade point average recalculated by RIT to include these courses in their overall GPA. Numerous repeat of courses and/or low GPA may result in removal of student from the Competitive Transfer Pathway by MCC or RIT. The final admissions decision will be made by RIT.

Matriculated, continuous, full-time enrollment (12 or more credit hours each semester) is required for students formally accepted into this Competitive Transfer Pathway (as indicated by the MCC major).

A grade of C or better is needed for credit to be awarded by RIT.

AP, IB, CLEP, transfer credit, MCC College Now or other Dual Enrollment courses: Credits showing as accepted by MCC may not be transferable. See
Transfer and Test Credit. Contact RIT with questions.

The MCC code EN02 is the base program for EN01 students. Students following this Industrial (EN09) engineering track will need course substitutions applied to EN02 at time of registration in order to meet financial aid and graduation requirements. Students should consult with the Engineering department and their Success Coach.
