As of Fall 2023, any student who transfers to SUNY Brockport with an earned
Associate’s degree (AS, AAS, or AA) or earned Bachelor’s degree will
have ALL general education requirements completed (this includes SUNY and
Brockport local requirements). Brockport accepts up to 75 credits from
community colleges.

Admission to the Major - Overall GPA must be 2.5 or higher. The healthcare
studies faculty has a professional responsibility to deny admission or
continuation in any of its programs to any student whose level of performance
and/or personal characteristics or dispositions do not adequately meet
academic, professional, or ethical standards.
Students must achieve a grade of "C" or higher in each required
healthcare administration course. A grade of "C-" does not meet
this requirement.
Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher is advised for acceptance to SUNY Brockport.
GPA of 2.0 is required for MCC graduation.
The Health Studies A.S. (HS01) will be the degree student is audited
against and awarded from MCC. Documentation Source: Advisement and Transfer
